Welcome to the enterprise capability called the Terms Service; a multi-lingual lexicon mechanism populated with planning, budgeting, accounting and finance definitions. Here one will be able to find the terminology, words, phrases, acronyms, etc. adopted for:

• providing a common business vocabulary to modernize,
• publish any known aliases for cross-domain interoperability,
• interpretation of information; forms, documents, transactions, business rules, etc., and
• useful glossary generation [or simply linking here] for authoring or documenting procedures, and rules.

Thus, Terms Service allows for multi-lingual translation between entities allowing one to navigate Terms from many viewpoints, better understand the points of view of others.

Less is more... the Terms Service incorporates principles of the Business-Centric Methodology (BCM), in that much effort is focused at aligning vocabularies and managing the term portfolio based on an order of precedence of the preferred terms. History dictates a properly managed vocabulary is required, with the metric of success not simply the count of terms within the base. For ontology analysis, the following MS-Word files are provided from the Terms Service:

• terms with definitions for analysis ~3 MBytes
• word frequency analysis ~15 MBytes
• 2-phrase frequency analysis ~8.5 MBytes
• 3-phrase, 4-phrase, & 5 phrase frequency analysis ~26 MBytes
